For your convenience, here are some useful tips on what to expect when you are in Paradise Island.


  • CLIMATE: Samal has only two (2) seasons and those are the Wet – from June to November and Dry – from December to May

  • LANGUAGE: The preferred dialect in Samal is Filipino but English is widely understood.

  • FYI: Shorts, loose cotton shirts and hats are best worn in Paradise Island. Electricity is 220 volts/60 cycles. Time zone is plus eight (8) hours GMT.

HOW TO GET HERE


  • The shortest way to get here in Paradise Island is by airplane from Manila and Cebu to Davao.PicsThe preferred airlines have more than one flight everyday, please check their schedules below. From Davao City International Airport, you can hail a taxi or ask the officer in charge of the cueing taxies for help and give you a taxi that will take you to Paradise Island Dock at Sasa. Do not forget to get your taxi note from the officer for your reference in case of taxi driver abuse. As you enter our private road leading to our dock, you will be met by our Receptionists and help you board our colorful boats.

    The first regular boat trip leaves the dock at 5:00 am and last trip is at 5:00 pm. Special trips may be arranged with the Management.

    Cebu Pacific Flight Schedules

  • The most convenient way is to inform us by e – mail or call us and arrange for an airport pick - up at a very reasonable fee. All you need to tell us is your name, ETA, and the airline. A pre – payment for this type of service is required.


    Again, make sure that your arrival is before 5:00 pm.


    • AFTER 5:00 PM ARRIVAL

    There is a public ferry that serves those who want to cross the channel, however, guests are allowed entry at the resort only until 9:30 PM. You may inform us of your intention to come here via this route so we can make arrangements.
